  • 3 Cups - left over cooked rice
  • 2 nos. Carrots
  • 4 nos. - green chillies
  • 2 nos - onions
  • Few springs - coriander
  • 2 tbsp - rice flour.

How to Make vegetable rice roti in kadai

  • Mash cooked rice gently and add rice flour, salt, grated carrots, finely cut green chillies, onions, coriander leaves.
  • Mix with water to form balls big enough to make a 6 inch circle.
  • Take a small kadai, oil fully and spread this ball like appam with your hands. Cook in medium flame with lid first, then open and roast a little.
  • Allow a minute or two and gently remove with a small spatula.
  • The roti will stand like a basket.
