Ingredients

  • 1 cup - durum wheat noodles
  • 3 cups - water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 - onion
  • 2 - green chilli
  • 3-4 tsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - urad dal
  • 2 sprigs - curry leaves
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch

How to Make Wheat Noodles Upma

  • Boil water with salt in a deep bottom vessel.
  • Add noodles and cook for about 5 mins.
  • Drain and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard, add urad dal and saute for a minute.
  • Now add sliced onions and green chillies, when the onions turn translucent add curry leaves, turmeric powder, a little salt and noodles to it and mix well
