Ingredients

  • White bread - 10 slices
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Ghee - 5 tsps
  • Butter - 3 tsps
  • Sugar - 2 cups or as much as needed
  • Fried cashewnuts - 2 tsps

How to Make White Bread Halwa

  • Cut the bread slices into small pieces and fry in 2 tsps of ghee, till they are slight brown.
  • Add milk, sugar to the fried bread pieces and continue heating.
  • Add 3 more tsps of ghee and keep stirring, till the ghee is sucked out.
  • Add butter in the end, and add fried cashewnuts.
  • Serve hot.
