Ingredients

  • Eggs - 4 (hardboiled and halved)
  • Onion -1 large(finely minced)
  • Tomato - 3 medium (chopped)
  • Oil - 1tsp
  • Salt
  • Peas -1 cup
  • Light Coconut Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Cilantro - finely chopped
  • Lemon juice -1 tsp
  • Grind into a smooth paste:
  • 1/2 inch -Ginger
  • 2-Garlic flakes
  • 1/2 tsp -Red Chilli
  • Poppy Seeds -1/2 tsp (Soak for an hour before grinding)
  • Bell Pepper - 1/2 medium
  • Onion - 1/2 medium
  • Cinnamon stick -1
  • Cloves - 6
  • Cardamom - 1 pod
  • Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Green Chillies 2-3

How to Make Yummy Egg-Lite Curry

  • Saute onions in oil for 5 mins.
  • Add the paste and cook until brown.
  • Now add the tomatoes, peas, coconut milk and cook until it is mashed.
  • Halve the eggs, remove the yolk and add to the gravy.
  • Now stir for 2 mins.
  • Remove and add the lemon juice and garnish with cilantro.
  • Serve with rice or noodles.
