  • 8 tbsp - melted butter approx. one stick
  • 2 c milk powder
  • 1 can (400 ml) condensed milk
  • 1/4 tsp - crushed saffron strands
  • A pinch of saffron colour
  • 1 tbsp - rose water

How to Make Zaffrani peda

  • Combine melted butter, milk powder and condensed milk in a micro save dish and mix to a mince thick paste.
  • Micro for 5 min after every minute give it a nice stir and micro again.
  • Remove from heat; mix in saffron, colour and then the rose water.
  • Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes.
  • Oil your hands and make small balls of the mix; then pat down into the shape of a peda.
  • Make a slight hole in the centre of each peda with your finger and fill it with pista or chocolate chip.
  • Oil a plate and put your pedas on them.
  • Ready to be served.
