Zaikedar Palak
Ingredients
Spinach 250g finely chopped
Onions 2, finely chopped
Ginger Garlic paste 20g
White Pepper powder 5g
Tomatoes 2, finely chopped
Black Cumin seeds 5g
Oil 4 tb spoon
Fresh dairy Cream 50g
Salt to taste
Ginger grated & Green chillies to garnish.
Method:
- Boil spinach in slightly salted water for 5 min while keeping the vessel covered.
- Strain boiled spinach and wash in cold water & keep aside.
- Take oil in a pan, add black cumin seeds & add onions.
- Add ginger garlic paste after onions are transparent & cook for 2 min.
- Add tomatoes & cook for 2-3 min.
- Add boiled & cooled spinach, salt & white pepper powder and cook for 5-7 min.
- Add cream & cook for 2-3 min.
- Garnish with grated ginger & green chillies & serve with naan or paranthas.
Cooking time : 1/2 hour

Bottle Gourd Raita:
Ingredients:
Bottle gourd small 1, grated & boiled
Yoghurt 400g
Sugar 2 tea spoons
Ginger 5g
Coriander leaves 20g
Green chilli 1
Dried mint powder 1/2 sp
Salt to taste
Black salt a pinch
Method :
- Grind together ginger, green chilli, sugar & coriander leaves.
- Beat the yoghurt & add above paste.
- Add boiled bottle gourd, salt, black salt & mix.
- Add dried mint powder & serve with masala puri or pulao.
