Hi! Sandhya Jain again, here is the reciepe for raita which I learned from my friend's aunt who resides in seattle. Hope, you all enjoy it. The previous recipe was Instant Kaman Dhokla

Raita

Ingredients

1 cup sour cream
1 cup of yoghurt(curd)
1 bunch green onions(chopped fine)
1/4 green bell pepper( chopped fine)
1 green chilli
small piece of ginger
1 clove garlic
salt to taste
Turmeric powder
red chilli powder to taste
1tbsp. oil
1 tomato
few leaves of fresh cilantro

Method

  1. Take a amall bowl and mix sour cream and yoghurt nicely.Keep it aside.
  2. Take a small frying pan and heat tbsp. of oil.
  3. Add chopped onions and green bell pepper to it.
  4. Let it cook for few minutes.
  5. In the mean time chop the garlic,ginger and green chilli and add to it.
  6. When the onions are done add turmeric powder, salt and red chilli powder to it.
  7. Now add fine chopped tomato to it and cook it for 2-3 minutes then add fresh corainder leaves to it.
  8. Now take down the pan from the cooking range and allow it to cool for 2 more minutes.
  9. Mix it with yogurt and sour cream mix .
  10. And serve it with parathas.Refrigerated it will be fresh for 3 days.
