Bengali Sandesh

Ingredients

Chana --- From 2 litre milk.
Brown sugar --- 1 cup
Skim milk powder --- 1-1/2 cup
Elachi powder --- from 3/4 pods
Un salted butter --- 1-1/2 tbs spoon

Method:

  1. Melt down sugar in les than 1/2 cup of water in microwave.
  2. Cook chana with brown sugar on stove in medium heat until bit dry.
  3. Add ghee, stir add skim milk powder slowly.
  4. When sticky take down from stove, put in the food processor and knead.
  5. Then take 1tbs spoon full put it on the mould to make different shapes.
  6. You will get 30 Sandeshes.

Tips:

1. Instead of putting on the mould you can spread it onto board,cut into triangles.
2. You can also use edible foil to make it more attractive.
