GULAB       JAMUNS

Makes 40-50 Gulab Jamuns

Ingredients

1. Whipping Cream - 1/2 pint 2. Maida -1/2 cup 3. Dry Milk Powder- 2 cups 4. Baking soda - 1/2 tspn

  1. Mix all of the above till oil oozes out.
  2. Make round balls.
  3. Heat oil. Turn it off. Fry the Jamuns till they are brown.( The jamuns should rise up slowly when put in oil).
  4. Make the sugar syrup and add the jamuns.

Sugar syrup Boil 2 cups sugar in 2 cups water. Switch off the flame once the syrup starts boiling. Add a few drops of rose essence. You can make about 45-50 delicious Gulab Jamuns with the above mix. Store in refrigerator.
