GULAB JAMUNS
Makes 40-50 Gulab Jamuns
Ingredients
1. Whipping Cream - 1/2 pint
2. Maida -1/2 cup
3. Dry Milk Powder- 2 cups
4. Baking soda - 1/2 tspn
- Mix all of the above till oil oozes out.
- Make round balls.
- Heat oil. Turn it off. Fry the Jamuns till they are brown.( The jamuns
should rise up slowly when put in oil).
- Make the sugar syrup and add the jamuns.
Sugar syrup
Boil 2 cups sugar in 2 cups water. Switch off the flame once the syrup
starts boiling. Add a few drops of rose essence.
You can make about 45-50 delicious Gulab Jamuns with the above mix. Store
in refrigerator.
