Capsicum Raitha
Ingredients
Capsicum-2 large nos.
Thick Curds -2 cups
Green Chillies - 3
Ginger - 1/2" piece
Coriander Leaves - a small bunch [cut finely]
Grated Coconut - 2 Tbsp
Oil, [1 tbsp] Jeera 1/2 tspn
Mustard Seeds 1/4
tspn
Curry Leaves a few.
Method:
- Cut capsicum into small pieces.
- Mince chillies and grate
the ginger.
- Take oil in a frying pan. When hot add mustard seeds
and jeera [cummin seeds] When they splutter add curry leaves and the
capsicum. Fry until it is soft and
slightly browned. Remove and let it cool.
- Take curds
in a bowl and add all
the ingredients along with salt to taste. Mix well.
Goes well with Chappaties
and Pulaos.
