Coriander Mint Chicken Curry

Ingredients

Chicken- 1/2 kg
Coriander leaves- 1/2 bunch
Mint leaves- 1/2 bunch
Green Chillies-3-4
Onions -1 medium
Ginger paste- 1 tbsp
Green Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Lime Juice- 1 tbsp
Salt
Ghee-2 tsp

Method

  1. Clean, wash and cut the chicken into medium pieces. Marinate (2-3 hrs) the chicken by adding salt, 1 tspn lime juice and freshly ground pepper powder (1/2 tsp).
  2. Now wash thoroughly the two green leaves and make a paste of it.
  3. Take a pan add ghee to it when it is hot add sliced onions fry it until golden brown.
  4. Now add chicken to it fry it for two seconds.
  5. Add ginger paste fry it for a second then add the greenchilli paste & mint-coriander paste to it fry well. Allow it to cook for 8 mins on medium then remove the lid.
  6. Add salt,lime juice and cardamom powder to it. Fry for 2 seconds on high flame. Remove it and serve hot with Roti or Rice.
