Carrot-Coconut Raita
Ingredients
2 Carrots
4 tsps grated Coconut
1 medium sized Onion
Salt to taste
Chilli powder as per your taste
A pinch of Hing
Yogurt (thick consistency)
Mustard seeds
1 tsp Oil
Method
- Grate the carrot.
- Cut onions fine.
- In a skillet take a little oil, and season
with some mustard seeds. When they splutter, add onions and fry till
transparent.
- Then add the grated carrot and fry till it gets slightly tender.
- Add salt and chilli powder and a pinch of hing.
- Add the coconut. Mix it all
well.
- Let it cool. Add this to the yogurt.
- Serve chilled
