Hyderabadi Kofta Curry
Kofta Ingredients:
Lamb Kheema 1/2
Chana dal 2 tablespoonful
Small onion 1
Red Chilli Power 1/2 tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste 1/4 tablespoonful
Turmeric powder 1/4 table spoon
Green Chilli 2-3
Coriander leaves 6-7 sticks finely chopped
Cinnamon 1-2 stick
Cardamom 1-2
Oil 1 tablespoonful
Salt As your taste
Curry masala Ingredients:
Sweet Curd 450 GMS
Coconut crushed 8-10 tablespoonful.
Chironji 3-4 tablespoonful
Almond 10-12
Kaju or Khuskhus Powder 3-4 tablespoonful
Cinnamon 2-3 sticks
Cardamom 1-3
Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoonful
Red chili powder 1 tablespoonful
Turmeric power 1/2 tablespoonful
Green Chilli 2-3
Coriander leaves 5-6 sticks finely chopped
Mint leaves 8-10 leaves finely chopped
Salt as your taste
Oil 6-7 tablespoonful
Water 2-3 cup water
Method to prepare kofta:
- Wash kheema and put in the pressure cooker and then put all the
ingredients mentioned in kofta ingredients and then add 1 1/2 cup water and
then pressure cook it for 10 minutes so that it cook finely.
- Now remove the lid and stir with spoon for 2-3 minutes as there is no
water in it. Now allow it to cool.
- Grind it in grinder to a smooth paste then make it into small balls as
you can. Fry it in a non-stick pan with small oil till they become light
golden color.
- Your fried kofta is ready to take out from non-stick to a plate and keep
aside. Be ready to prepare masala for it.
Method to prepare Curry Masala:

First grind coconut, Chironji, Almond, Kaju or Khuskhus in a grinder to a
smooth paste. Take out all the paste in a bowl and put all the ingredients
of masala in it except oil.
- First heat oil in a utensil in which you are going to prepare the curry,
let it heat lightly then put all the ingredients into it on a low flame.
- Stir the ingredients till it leaves the oil then add curd and again for 2
minutes then add water make it gravy as you require now allow it to cook for
5 minutes on a low flame.
- Remove from the flame then put all kofta in it.
Now your Kofta Curry Masala is ready. Serve it with Rice.
