Hi,
I am Ashwini Reddy from Denver and would like to share the recipe of this simple yet delicious RAITA. This raita goes well with any pulavs. Any suggestions/questions, let me know.

Carrot-Cucumber Raita

Ingredients

Yogurt - 2 cup
Sour Cream - 1 1/2 spoon
Carrot-1/4 (large carrot or two baby carrots)
Cucumber-1/4
Onion1/4
Cilantro-less than half bunch
Salt (All the above ingredients may vary.)

Method:

  1. Cut the onions and cucumber into very small pieces.
  2. Grate the Carrot and keep it aside.
  3. Mix the yogurt with sour cream and mix it properly. Add salt to it.
  4. Add the cut onions, cucumber, and grated carrot.
  5. Add the cilantro, but it's mostly for decorative purpose.

The Raita is ready to serve.
