Hello,
I'm Madhavi Srihari from London. This is my first contribution to bawarchi. I'm a great fan of all types of raitha. I could simply live on them. I have tried a few from the readers contributions and enjoyed them thoroughly. I hope u will all enjoy this potato raitha which I make very often.

a small bunch of spring onions, chopped very fine

3 tsp of finely chopped coriander
2 chilles, finely chopped
2 cups of yoghurt, beaten well
2 tsp of oil

Method

  1. Heat the oil in the pan and add jeera. After a 30 to 40 secs add ginger and chillies and fry well.
  2. Add spring onions and fry for a couple of minutes.
  3. Once they are done add salt and boiled potatoes and mix well.
  4. Take it off the heat and add yoghurt and garninsh it with coriander leaves. This is very tasty with rotis or any rice preparations.
