Pepper Chicken

Ingredients

Chicken cut into small pieces - 500 grams
Freshly ground pepper (not smooth) - 3 tspns
Salt to taste
Onions chopped finely - 2 nos
Tomato chopped - 1
Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing.
oil - 2 tspns
turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
vinegar (optional) - 1 1/2 tspn

Method

  1. Fry onions till golden brown it should turn crispy.
  2. Then add turmeric and pepper powder alongwith salt and stir.
  3. Add a little water to avoid burning.
  4. Then add tomatoes and mix well. Add in the chicken pieces and mix again for 5 minutes.
  5. Add some water ,just a little since chicken cooks very fast.
  6. Cover the lid. Before removing from fire when there is still some water left you can add vinegar its optional.
  7. Stir again and remove from fire according to the required consistency you need.
  8. Then garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
