Potato Raita
Ingredients
2 medium sized grated boiled Potatoes
Jeera - 1 pinch
Oil - 1/2 spoon
1 small Green Chilly
Asafoetida [hing] - 1 pinch
Curry leaves [kadipatta]
Yoghurt - 4 tbspns.
Sugar - 1/2 spoon
Salt - as per taste
For garnishing:
Dalchini powder - 1 pinch
Rock Salt - 1 pinch
Red Chilli powder - 1 pinch
Black Pepper powder - 1 pinch
Method:
- Mix the boiled grated potatoes with yoghurt, sugar and salt.
- In a kadai heat oil. Fry jeera till brown. Add green chilly, curry leaves and asafoetida. Add the tadka on the potatoes.
- Garnish with the above garnishing.
- Serve chilled with Parathas / Rice.
