Spring Onion Raita

Ingredients

Spring Onion - 1 bunch
Green Chillies - 7
Coconut - 2 tsp
Roasted Peanuts - 2 tsp
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Curds - 1 cup
Salt - as per taste

For seasoning: Oil, Mustard, Jeera, Hing and Curry Leaves.

Method:

  1. Clean and cut the spring onions into small pieces.
  2. Grind the green chillies, jeera, salt, peanuts and coconut coarsely without water, you can add curds for grinding. After it is done add the cut spring onions and just grate it. Take out the contents into a vessel and add curds.
  3. Season this with a little oil, mustard, jeera, hing and curry leaves.

This can be had with Jowar Roti, chapathi and whatever you can think of. Hope you like it !!!
