Broccoli-Curd Curry

Ingredients

Broccoli - 2 medium size flowers
Capsicum - 1 green medium size
250 gm of (any brand) live natural Yoghurt. (I use onken biopot)
Onion - 1 medium size finely chopped
Garlic - 2 cloves finely chopped
Ginger - 2 inch piece finely chopped
Fenugreek (methi) seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Curry Leaves - 15-20
Dry Red Chillies - 2 in nos
Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - as per taste
Sugar - 2 tablespoon(optional)
Oil - 3 tablespoons

Method:

  1. Cut the broccoli into small florets.
  2. Cut capsicum into small square pieces.
  3. Put a heavy bottom pan on the burner. Put oil in that, when the oil is hot add methi seeds, curry leaves, onion, garic, giner, dry red chillies. Fry all till onion is golden brown. Now add cumin powder, haldi powder, stir well.
  4. Add broccli to it,put the lid & let it cook. (do not overcook ohterwise it will be mushy), add capsicum, cook till it is just done. (with lid) Take the pan off the burner, let it cool a little (so that the curd we 'll be adding 'll not curdle). Add curd, salt & sugar. Give it a good stir.
  5. Enjoy with Rice or Roti & ofcourse don't forget to give me your feedbacks.
