Quick Potato Curry

Ingredients

1/4 kg Potato
5-6 Green Chillies
1/4 tsp Turmeric
Coarsely ground Black Pepper Powder
Salt to taste
Kothmir(Coriander Leaves)

For Seasoning:

1 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Jeera
1 tsp Mustard seeds
pinch of Hing
Curry Leaves

Method:

  1. Boil and peel the potatoes. Cut them into desired size. Finely chop the green chillies and kothmir.
  2. Pour oil into a vessel. Add mustard seeds, jeera, hing and curry leaves. Once mustard seeds splutter add green chillies and then potatoes, turmeric, black pepper powder and salt to taste. Mix everything together and cook for 5 min on medium flame.
  3. Garnish with kothmir.
  4. Serve hot with puris or chapathis. This curry stays very long without spoiling.
