Doodhi Curry
Ingredients
Doodhi -1 (medium sized)
Onions -1
Tomato -1
Mustard seeds
Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Jeera powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Salt -to taste
Method:
- Saute onions after spluttering msutard in oil. Add tomatoes and fry for 5
mins.
- Add the chopped doodhi and the masala powders and salt and let it cook for 25-30 minutes over slow fire after adding 1/2 glass water.
- Garnish with corainder leaves when done.
