My name is Jyotirmayi Kayande and I'm a frequent visitor to the Bawarchi site. My husband and I love to try new things and come up with different ideas while cooking.I'd like to share a mouth watering Chicken Recipie that my husband had concocted. So here it is, I hope you will enjoy it.

Spicy Barbecued Chicken Kebabs

Ingredients

2 skinned chicken breasts cut into 1 inch cubes
8 cherry/grape tomatoes
1 green pepper seeded and cut in 1 inch portions
1 yellow pepper seeded and cut in 1 inch portions
4 pearl onions

Marinade:
1 1/2 cups of soy sauce
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp dhanna-jeera powder
10 cloves of garlic
1 inch cube of ginger
1/2 cup of cilantro finely diced
1/4 cup of mint finely diced
3 tsp of chilli powder
2tsp of canola/olive/corn oil

Method:

  1. Blend oil, ginger and garlic into a fine paste.
  2. Mix the blended garlic-ginger paste with soy sauce, cilantro, cayenne pepper and mint.
  3. Marinate chicken in the sauce for 1 hour
  4. Skewer 3 cubes of chicken, 1 tomato,onion and green pepper and repeat until the skewer is full.
  5. Baste the skewer with spray of oil and grill for around 15 minutes/ until done.
