Hi,
My name is Bela and I enjoy cooking whenever I have time. The best part of cooking is that it allows you to be creative. This is a very easy Raita recipe that I created and love, so I'd like to share it.

Carrot Raita

Ingredients

2 cups yogurt
1 medium carrot, peeled and shredded
1 green chili chopped
salt to taste
1 tsp. oil
mustard seeds
cilantro

Method:

  1. Beat the yogurt (add water if it's too thick) until smooth.
  2. Add the carrots, chili and salt and mix well.
  3. Heat the oil and add mustard seeds until they splutter.
  4. Add this to the yogurt. Garnish with chopped cilantro (coriander) leaves.
