Corn Curry
Ingredients
1 can Corn Kernels
1 big Onion
Oil-1 Tablespoon
Tomato puree-1 cup
Salt- According to taste
Red Pepper-1/4 teaspoon
Coriander Powder-1/4 teaspoon
Haldi or turmeric - A little bit
Garam Masala for flavor
1/2 cup Water
Cilantro or coriander and green chillies to garnish
Method:
- Heat the oil and Chop the onions.
- Fry the onions till they are golden brown.
- Put in tomato puree and all the masala (red pepper, coriander powder, salt etc) except for garam masala.
- Let the masala simmer and when oil start to come up add corn.
- Put in little water and let it come to a boil.
- Lower the heat/gas and let the corn be cooked (till corn kernels
get soft)
- Garnish with garam masala, green chillies and coriander and serve hot with rice or paranthas.
