sites.Here is a very simple dish, carrot rasam which is nutritious &

Carrot Rasam
Ingredients
Carrots-2
Tomato-1
Onion-1
Toordhal-1/2 cup
Pepper-1/4 tsp
Jeera-1/4 tsp
Coriander seeds:1/4 tsp
Dry redchilli-3
Sugar-1/2 tsp
Tamarind very little
Method:
- Take all the ingredients & pressure cook them with
water. Turn off the heat after 4 whistles.
- Then grind
the whole mixture in a blender adding salt & 3/4 cup
water.
- Take a vessel& heat oil.
- Add seasoning items to
it.
- Last add curry leaf, garlic minced (optional) &
asefodita.
- To this add the blended rasam.
- Let it heat
for 5 min. Don't over boil it.
- Add lime juice if
needed. Garnish with kothimeer.
Enjoy this with rice.
