Solachi (kokam) Kadhi

Ingredients

3/4 kokam
Grated Coconut - 1
2/3 garlic (singles/ petals whatever it is called)
1/2 green chillies
Salt
Coriander leaves
Ghee and mustard seeds for seasoning (Vagar)

Method:

  1. Soak 3/4 Kokams in salted water for about 15-20 mins.
  2. Take out milk of whole coconut with garlic, chillies.
  3. Mix the soaked kokams in this milk.
  4. Heat ghee and add mustard seeds.
  5. Once the mustard seeds crackle add the seasoning to the milk.
  6. Do not heat the milk.
  7. Serve this with Rice.
  8. You can even drink this after your meal as it is the best for digestion.
