Chicken Curry
Ingredients for Cooking
Chicken - 1/2 Kg (cut into pieces and wash)
Curd - 1 spoon
Curry leaves / Coriander leaves (for garnishing)
For Masala:
Onion - 2 Big
Garlic - 10-12 cloves
Ginger - A big piece
Coconut - 1 cup
Lavang - 2-3
Dalchini- 2-3
Pepper - 20
Red chilli powder - 2 spoons (or as per taste)
Coriander - 2 spoons
Turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
Fry all the above ingredients till light golden brown. After it is cooled grind in mixer with water.
Method:
- First mix chicken with salt and turmeric and curd and keep for an hour.
- After an hour keep a pan on gas, put oil and fry the grounded masala for 2 minutes.
- Add the chicken to the masala and fry till it mixes well.
- Pour little water mix well and check the salt etc.
- Then allow it to boil for 2 minutes
- Pressure cook for 5-10 minutes on low flame.
- Garnish with coriander leaves / kadipata
