Hey all,I am ramya from USA . I am new to cooking. Through my friend I came to know about Bawarchi site. I have tried some of the dishes .

Recently in POTLUCK u prepared "MIXED VEGETABLE CURRY". I like to share this recipe with u all. It goes well with poori and chappathi. This is one of my favourite dish.

Mixed Vegetable Curry

Ingredients for Cooking

Chinese Okra - 1(beerakaya)
Carrot -
Onion - 1
Tomatoes - 1/2 cup
Peas - 1/4th of a cup
Milk -  2cups
Cumin powder - 1 tbsp
Corriander Powder - 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
channa dhal - 1 tbsp
Salt as required
Oil -required
Turmeric -little bit

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a tava, then fry channa dhal and onion nicely till onion gets transparent color
  2. Then add tomatoes , okra and fry that nicely then add carrot and peas then close it with one plate
  3. Let it fry for 10min (keep stirring in between)
  4. Then add , turmeric, cumin powder, dhaniya powder and redchilli powder and salt mix that properly
  5. At last add milk , in that vegetables will cook, if milk was evaporated add some more milk.
