I'm Srikala Sundaresan from Muscat.Here is another recipe that I wud like to share with u all.Its MORE KHADI.Very simple to make. Goes well with plain rice(and papads ofcourse!!) & chapathis too.I learnt this dish from my mother! Pls send in ur comments.

More Khadi
Ingredients
Onions - 2 nos.
Potato - 4 nos. medium sized
More - 2 cups (curd churned into more -for those who don't follow - take thick curd (1 cup) and add little water - beat well,till it mixes.)Don't make it too watery!
Coconut - 1/2 cup(grated)
Green chilli - 3 or 4 nos
Pottu kadalai - 2 tbsp
Caradamom - few
Cloves - a few nos
Ghee - 1tsp
Oil - few tsp
METHOD
- Cut onions lengthwise.
- Boil potatoes and cut them in the form of cubes.
- Fry elachi and cardamom in a little ghee and keep aside.
- Grind grated coconut,green chilli,pottu kadhalai,fried cardamom and
cloves all together.
- Add the ground mixture(the paste)to the more, mix well and keep aside.
- In the meanwhile,saute onions in little oil till it turns golden brown
and then add boiled potatoes to that.Mix well.
- Finally add this more, to the onion and potato mixture.
- Let this be on the flame for a few mins,till one boil comes.(pls keep
the flame in simmer).
- Remove from flame and serve hot.
