Ingredients:For ice cubes:
200 ml. Water
1/4 cup strong coffee liquer
1/4 cup sugarFor milk shake:
3/4 cup strong coffee decoction
1/2 cup sugar
1 litre chilled whole milkMethod:
For ice cubes:
- Boil and cool water to room temperature.
- Warm liquer, add sugar and stir or toss till blended.
- Mix water and blend well.
- Pour into icecube trays, to chill.
- Allow cubes to set.
For milk shake:
To serve:
- Blend warm decoction and sugar till fully dissolved.
- Add milk and blend till frothy.
- Place a few coffee cubes at bottom of tall glass.
- Pour frothing milk over it.
- Sprinkle a dash of cocoa powder over top, if desired.
- Serve very very chilled.
Making time: 20 minutes (excluding cube freezing time)
Makes: 6-7 large servings
Shelflife: Cubes 2-3 days, Shake best fresh
