Easter Delicacies
Strawberries with Cream
INGREDIENTS

1 cup fresh ripe strawberries
1 cup fresh cream
2 tbsp. castor sugar
  METHOD:

  1. Wash, drain, destalk strawberries.
  2. Cut into for vertical sections, save 2 whole.
  3. If strawberries a sour, sprinkle a tsp. of castor sugar over them.
  4. Beat freshcream in a chilled bowl over a bowl of icecubes.
  5. Beat till it thickens to coat the spatula thickly.
  6. Add sugar, beat again till soft peaks form.
  7. Put a dollop of cream in a chilled glass.
  8. Add some strawberries, repeat with cream and strawberries.
  9. Make a swirl on top with large star nozzle with cream if desired.
  10. Slice whole strawberry till the base into 3-4 sections, but do not cut.
  11. Press like a fan, place on top of swirl.
  12. Serve fresh and chilled.
