Ingredients1 kg Goa rice
3 coconut, grated
2 tbsp water
500 gms coconut jaggery
1/2 tsp cardamom powderMethod
- Roast the rice on a griddle
- Grind into powder
- Crush the jaggery
- Put water and put on medium flame will jaggery dissolves
- Add grated coconut, and cook till mixture is almost dry
- Cool it
- Grind the mixture to form thick paste
- Add the flour and cardamom powder and mix it well
- Make small balls of the dough
- Keep it open for 1-2 hours till dry
- Store in air-tight container
Makes: 10-12 balls
Shelf-life: 1 week
