Greens and Veggies

Tips
  1. For those who are vegetarians, greens and other vegetables form a very significant part of their food. A high intake of fresh vegetables will provide a person with many components required in a healthy nutritional food program.
  2. Though fresh vegetables are the best, you may freeze vegetables in their peak season for use when they are not available.
  3. Vegetables cooked with masalas or gravies form a staple part of the Indian diet. They are eaten as an accompaniment with chappatis, puris and steamed rice.
  4. Though Indian vegetables tend to lean on the spicier side, one may adjust chilli, etc. according to one's taste easily.
  5. This week is in continuation of a series of vegetables already published earlier, refer gravy vegetables.
