Delicious Kheer
Baati Ki Kheer
(from leftover baati of dal baati: rajasthani dishes)

Ingredients:
1 litre milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. cardamom powder
1 cup leftover baati pieces

Method:

  1. Either crush baati with hand coarsely, or chop into tiny cubes.
  2. Heat milk, bring to a boil, simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add baati, simmer for 5 minutes, add sugar, stir to dissolve.
  4. Add cardamom powder, stir, simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Serve hot as an even meal by itself.

Making time: 20 minutes
Makes: 4 servings
