Milk Dishes
Gingered Milk
Ingredients:

150 ml. milk
1/4 tsp. dry ginger powder
3-4 pinches chai masala (refer masalas)
1 cardamom pounded (or 3 pinches powder)
1-1/2 tsp. sugar

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients well in a heating container.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  3. Reduce and simmer for 1 minute.
  4. Cover and keep for 1 minute.
  5. Strain and pour into cup.
  6. Serve hot, on cold wet, days or nights.
  7. This drink brings a tingling vigour in sultry climates.
