Description: 
Crabs, also known as decapods, are in the crustacean family. They have a very hard shell and very soft flesh inside. 

Commonly used in:  
Crabs are prepared and eaten in many ways across the world. It can be boiled and served with garlic butter or cooked with various spices to make spiced crab or masala crab dishes. Crab meat is extracted and mixed with flour and other ingredients to make crab cakes or used in bisque, a global dish of French origin. 

Health benefit:  
Crabs are rich in chromium, which helps insulin to metabolize sugar, and thereby lowers the blood glucose levels in the body. It contains plentiful amounts of omega-3 fatty acids and selenium which is an anti-oxidant.
