Description:
Kabuli Channa is of the pulse family. It grows in pods and each pod usually has 2-3 peas. It is mainly grown in Mediterranean, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan

Commonly used in:
Used in Salads, stews, gravies and once ground (Chickpea Flour or Besan) can be used to coat fritters or bhajjias.

Health benefit:
Kabuli Chana are a rich source of Zinc, folate and protein. It contains a low content of polyunsaturated fat and assist in lowering cholesterol
