Description:
Zucchini is a squash that come in green, yellow and orange colours. which grows to a meter in length. This is usually served cooked using a variety of cooking techniques, including steamed, boiled, grilled, stuffed and baked, barbecued, fried. It is dark or light green in colour.

It has a delicate flavour and is usually cooked quickly with some butter and herbs. It is also fried, stuffed, boiled, steamed and barbecued. Zucchinis are used to make soups and stews. It is also baked into bread and incorporated into cake mixes.

Health Benefits:
Zucchini  is a low calorie vegetable. Its skin is a good source of dietary fibre and helps reduce constipation. It’s even said to protect against colon cancers. Zucchinis, especially the yellow varieties, are rich in anti-oxidants.
