Christmas Dishes
Potato Dumplings

Ingredients

4 potatoes
2 eggs, beaten
Salt as per taste
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 tsp pepper powder
1 cup plain flour
6 cups water

Method:

  1. Boil the unpeeled potatoes till tender (approx 15 mins)
  2. Peel it and mash with potato smasher
  3. Add all the remaining ingredients except salt and water
  4. Make a dough of the mixture, soft
  5. Make round balls of dough approx 1-1/2"
  6. Boil water and salt
  7. Add potato dumplings
  8. Let it cook till they float, approx 10 mins
  9. Drain
  10. Serve hot
