Easter, one of the oldest Christian festival, commemorates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and observed by the Western Churches on the 1st Sunday after the full moon falling on or next after 21st March (the verual equinox).The Easter Egg, as a symbol of new life is as old as time itself. The ancient Persisans and Egyptians handed this down to the Christian Church and people have exchanged painted eggs since ages by greeting each other saying "Christ is risen".
Tips to decorate Easter Eggs:
- Use hard boiled eggs for decoration
- Caryons and markers can be used to colour and decorate the eggs
- Small buttons, glues, colourful ribbons can be glued on eggs
- Wet crepe paper rolled on egg, then removing the paper will leave the colour behind on the eggs
