East Indian Dishes
Mutton Chops

Ingredients

1 dozen mutton chops
3 eggs
Bread crumbs
2 tsp lemon juice
oil for frying

Grind to a paste:
2 onions
3 Green Chillies
4 cinnamon sticks
4 Cloves
1" ginger
4 cardamoms
1 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste

Method

  1. Mix the lime juice to the ground masala
  2. Marinate the mutton chops with the above mixture
  3. Keep aside for 2-1/2 hours.
  4. Beat the eggs in a vessel
  5. Apply the beaten egg on each chop and roll in the bread crumbs
  6. Fry the chops
  7. Steam the fried chops in a pressure cooker for 1/2 an hour.
