Ingredients
1 tbsp oil
1 onion, chopped finely
2 carrots, sliced
3 stalks celery, cut in to small size
Salt as per taste
Pepper as per taste
5 cups chicken stock
2 boneless chicken breast halvesMethod
- Heat oil
- Fry onion till transparent
- Add chicken stock, bring to boil
- Add carrots, celery chicken breast and salt
- Let it cook till vegetables and chicken are tender (approx 10 minutes)
- Remove from fire
- Remove chicken breast, let it cool
- Cut into bit-sized pieces
- Add back to stock
- Bring back to boil, adding pepper
- Serve hot
