Ingredients

  • Chicken - 1 kg
  • Curd - 200 g
  • Onions (sliced)- 2
  • Tomatoes (sliced)- 2 or 3
  • Kalonji - 1/2 tsp
  • Jeera - 1/2 tsp
  • Rai - 1/2 tsp
  • Methi - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp or according to your taste
  • Green chillies as required
  • Coriander leaves, chopped for garnishing
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • How to Make Aachari Chicken:

    1. Wash the chicken pieces.
    2. Mix all the ingredients except oil, tomatoes and coriander leaves.
    3. Marinate the chicken pieces for about one to two hours.
    4. Heat oil in a saucepan, add the marinated chicken and sliced tomatoes and cook until chicken is tender.
    5. Garnish with chopped coriander.
