Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - raw rice/pachari
  • 1/2 cup - Urad Dal
  • 1/2 cup - tur dal
  • 1/2 cup - Bengal Gram dal/channa dal
  • 25 - dry Red Chilli
  • 1/2 tsp - Asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves
  • Oil
  • How to Make Ada dosa:

    1. Soak dal, rice and chillies for 3 hours and grind them with enough water.
    2. Add asafoetida, curry leaves and salt to ground paste and mix well. Heat a tava, spread some oil and pour a spoonful of batter.
    3. Sprinkle some oil on top and sides of the dosa and cook.
    4. Turn over and cook again.
