  • Ginger - 3-inch piece
  • Ajwain - 1 tbsp
  • Green chillies (optional) - 6/7, medium
  • Rock Salt - To taste
  • Curd - 3 cups
  • Water - 3 cups
  • How to Make Adrak and Ajwain Flavoured Lassi:

    1. Peel and wash and finely dice the adrak.
    2. Put the adrak, ajwain and chillies through a spice grinder to make a coarse paste.
    3. Put the curd and water in the blender for a couple of minutes to make a Lassi.
    4. Mix in the adrak, ajwain and chillies paste.
    5. Add rock salt to taste.
    6. Leave to soak for about 2 hours and then sieve out the flavouring.
    7. Cool in the fridge and dilute some more with water before drinking.
