Ingredients

  • 1 Chicken
  • 2 limes
  • 2 Onions (big) or 250 gms -
  • 2.5 cm. Piece Ginger
  • 6 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 bunch coriander
  • 1 bunch Mint
  • 1/2 cup - Cream
  • 1 tbsp - Fat
  • 1 tsp - Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Afghani chicken korma:

    1. Wash and cut the chicken into pieces.
    2. Grind onions, ginger and garlic together.
    3. Place chicken in a vessel.
    4. Pour lime juice over it and allow it to marinate.
    5. Add ground spices to the chicken and set it aside for a little longer.
    6. Mix pepper, garam masala, chopped mint, coriander and salt together.
    7. Spread the mixture evenly over the chicken. Pour in cream and fat.
    8. Cover and cook over a slow fire till the chicken is tender.
    9. No water is to be added.
