Ingredients

  • 400g - ajwain seeds powder
  • 1.5 cups - edible gum (goondh) coarse granules
  • 4.5 cups - Ghee
  • 6 cups - grated Jaggery
  • 3 tsp - Wheat flour
  • How to Make Ajwain Halwa:

    1. Heat 3/4 cup ghee, till warm.
    2. Stir in 1/2 tsp wheat flour and 1/4 cup gum granules.
    3. Allow granules to pop, remove with perforated spoon, keep aside.
    4. Add 1 cup jaggery, stir till melted, but not boiling.
    5. Take off fire, stir in ajwain, add popped granules mixture.
    6. Mix well, transfer to small bowl, press down lightly.
    7. Consume while warm.
    8. Repeat the procedure for 6 days to finish all ingredients.
