Ingredients

  • 1 cup - whole-wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 2 tsp - Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - carom seeds
  • 2 tbsp - Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 250 ml - oil
  • How to Make Ajwain Mini Puris - Pooris:

    1. Sieve flour and salt together. Rub 2 tsp of ghee to the flour mixture. Mix it until it is well combined with ghee. Then mix it with ajwain and chopped coriander leaves.
    2. Add water and knead to make a soft dough. Divide this dough into 2 parts.
    3. Make round balls and roll it out into a big roti. Cut pooris with the help a biscuit cutter or an inverted lid. Then all pooris will be of equal size and shape.
    4. Heat oil in a frying pan. Reduce the heat to a medium.
    5. Deep fry the pooris till they are golden in colour on both the sides.
    6. Drain it out from the oil and place it on a kitchen towel so it absorbs the extra oil.
    7. Serve it hot with pickle/curd.
