  • 1 cup - whole Wheat flour
  • 1 tsp - Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 150 ml - warm Milk
  • 1 tsp - carom seeds
  • 6 - 8 tsp - Ghee
  • How to Make Ajwaini Roti:

    1. Mix flour, 1 tsp of ghee, salt and ajwain together.
    2. Add milk and knead it into a smooth dough.
    3. Do not add extra water/milk when making the dough. Set it aside in an airtight container for half an hour.
    4. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions/balls.
    5. Roll it out into thin chapattis of 6-inch diameter.
    6. Place a non-stick frying pan on heat.
    7. Place a roti on the frying pan and cook for a few seconds until little bubbles appear.
    8. Turn over and cook for 1/2 minute or until the brown specks appear.
    9. Cook each side for 1/2 minute and remove it from the tawa.
    10. Apply little oil on both sides of the roti and stack them on top of each other.
    11. Serve it with green chutney.
