Ingredients

  • 1 large Bell Pepper (Green capsicum)
  • A small bunch Methi Leaves
  • A small bunch Dill
  • 1.5 cups Rice flour
  • 1 Green chilli (finely chopped)
  • Coriander (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Steamed rice
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Water for mixing

How to Make Akki (Rice Flour) Roti

  • Grate bell pepper and add to the rice flour. Add chopped dill and methi leaves.
  • Then add chillies, coriander, salt and jeera and mix well. The consistency of the mixture should be such that it can be patted on a griddle.
  • Then take a ball of the mixture and pat it on a greased tawa in a circular pattern with your fingers.
  • Then pour some oil around and heat until the bottom of the roti turns golden brown.
  • Turn and repeat the same.
  • Serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
